Mike, thanks a lot. I appreciate your insight. I am going to look at and trade breakouts keeping your suggestions in mind: trade first pullback plus look for strong volume, and a long white candle for a buy.

Whipsaws are always a concern. The approach I would recommend is to not play the breakout but rather to let it break out or down and then watch for the first pull back and then play that. Strong volume on the breakout is always a positive sign as we…
