Craig, I just got onto this thread and I cannot get to the link to see your 'little trick' everyone keeps talking about. Seems like the link above takes me to your site but I do not see what the trick is. Can someone direct me?

Glad you all liked the post. Doing this might get you in a little late at times but, man, this market has been so volatile lately. I've just never seen anything like it!

Also, you might want to try using the 10 EMA instead of the 10 SMA. The EMA responds a little faster.

KTF, yes. I use the 60 min chart when watching the market. I will step down to the 15 min and even 5 min to pin point my entry or exit as the price enters support and resistance levels. The setup is much better if price moves into the 60 min TAZ and there is support or resistance at that level. I then wait for a candlestick to print a turn signal.

Excellent suggestion. I have informally back tested it and it seems to work most of the time, at least in the recent market. Just wondering if you might get a better price if after the cross you waited until the price moved up into the TAZ, and there was a favourable candlestick on the 60 minute chart?

Craig,

Excellent post! Another thing I have noticed many times when using the lower low method. I try not to jump in instantly when there is lower low. I will actually wait for confirmation and that is short when the lower low is broken on the next bar.
